I-resign.com Privacy Policy

1. INTRODUCTION

I-resign.com is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. We will use our best efforts to ensure that the information you submit to us is used only for the purposes set out in this policy. The Data Protection Act 1998 requires us to ensure that any data you provide to us is processed fairly and lawfully.

2. INFORMATION ABOUT YOU

We will ask you to indicate when you are happy for us to disclose this information and will never pass it on before that time. We will never disclose your name or other personal details to any third party. Similar warranties apply if you tell us about a position that someone else may have recently resigned from or vacated.


It is possible that we may pass some information in relation to your current position (or that of another position reported by you) to job seekers based outside the European Union. Some of these countries (for example, the United States) may not have an equivalent level of protection of your personal data as the UK. By permitting us to release information you have provided to us you are consenting to our passing information to job seekers and recruiters based outside the EU. We will never disclose your name or other personal details to any third party.


You should be aware that information posted by you in our discussion forum and / or blog may be accessed by all our website users. We are not responsible for the use by any of our users of information posted by you in the discussion forum / blog and you should be careful not to post any information which you do not want to be available to all users of the site.


4. COOKIES

When you first visit the Website, we may send you a cookie. A cookie is a small file that is placed on your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. It helps us to recognise you when you visit the Website and makes use of the Website easier and quicker for you. We may also use cookies for the compilation of certain statistics relating to the use of a service which does not identify you personally.
