Sorry, but I have to resign. Sorry. It must come as terrible shock for you, but I have a new job where I can do three-and-a-half days a week and it's a bit closer to the tube station. Sorry. I really enjoyed working here, and I don't want to think I'm leaving because of you. I'm not. You were really sweet. It's a shame that you over-watered my spider plant, though. I think you must have killed it with kindness!!

I really want to focus on the good times we've had over the last two weeks. I've really had a profoundly enjoyable experience, and I think I had a fantastic opportunity working in such a lively and entertaining atmosphere where everybody could joke with one another. The ground-glass one was really funny!! It's a shame that I didn't have time to bed in properly; no-one really got my name right except Steve. He was really kind to me, especially letting me stay over at his place when I'd had that funny drink in the pub. The cleaners were nice too.

I found my position very challenging, for the most part. Especially the folding and licking. I've really begun to appreciate the simple nobility of the postage stamp. It's great to know that those three years of Philosophy weren't wasted!! I think they have a franking machine at my new job. Sometimes going to the cake shop in the afternoon was fun too!!

I hope I haven't left you in a hole, and that you have good luck finding a replacement. If you want any help, then don't hesitate to call me. It's great to be needed!!
